Air Vice-Marshal Sir Richard Charles Fairfax Peirse, KCVO CB, a senior Royal Air Force officer. He was Defence Services Secretary 1985-1988.

Between 1990 and 2002 he was Gentleman Usher of the Scarlet Rod ,[1] between 2002 and 2006 he was Registrar and Secretary of the Order of the Bath[2][3]
